family photo shoot contest

My favorite wedding photographers (I have a bit of an obsession with them, which is saying something considering the ridiculous number of wedding photographers in my Google Reader folder) announced that they were having a contest for a free family photo shoot, which would be awarded to the person who submitted the best sketch of their cool/cute/rad family. It's times like these that I wish my mom was a tattoo artist and my dad owned an organic grocery store and taught inner-city kids how to break dance, but I guess we're not the blandest, right?

I mean, I have made some cool stop-motion videos and Bruce might as well be John Mayer in the eyes of the Sycamore High School girls. My mom has a system for labeling dish towels that Martha Stewart really would be envious of and while eating guacamole isn't exactly the epitome of "rad", I didn't think that my dad's habit of dancing in the garage upon the departure of any family member was a much better alternative. We've been known to listen to Wham! and Cher while eating breakfast and I'd dare you to find a family would could cite more lines from Dumb and Dumber and Home Alone than we can. Definitely photo shoot-worthy if you ask me.
