lunch in chandelier heaven

While my mom and I were wandering around New York (it pains me to even type that) we walked past the window of Pipa and, being a girl who dies for exposed beams, brick and chandeliers, I started panting.

We got a prime people-watching table (there were SO MANY cool guys who looked like they were straight out of a Richard Haines drawing), drank coffee and ate the best sandwiches of our lives.

I'm going to stop now before I send myself into a big spiral of Indiana-induced depression, but if you go make sure to order the Serrano Ham Sandwich.

Hopefully I'll make it to NYC one day... Fingers crossed.
I like how you suck out every detail of your trip. Really, I do!! Gimme more!

  3. Nadine - I thought the last line was meant to be sarcastic! Unless you want to see recaps of my daily trip to Target, I'm going to be drawing from my files of that weekend!

  4. I too go crazy for beautiful lighting, both natural and artificial. I haven't had any delicious sandwiches under chandeliers in Vancouver, but there is one place with a skylight. Needless to say, it's always packed with handsome hipsters.
