I'm back from a hugely successful trip to San Francisco! I found an apartment that's not only in a convenient location, but has plenty of windows and isn't covered in a mysterious layer of grime AND I realized that this city is the mecca of the blogging world. I have some REALLY EXCITING things coming up in conjunction with some of my favorite bloggers - there has been lots of gasping and ohmygod-ing over the past few days :)
We stayed at the Good Hotel, which was full of quirky artwork and bright colors while being relatively inexpensive. Places that are able to create fun spaces with easy solutions like Ikea furniture and bright accents make me wonder why rooms at the Marriott/Hyatt/Hilton are still so heinous.
On our last day we rented a car and drove to the Pacific Ocean side of the city, but were too cold to go for a real walk on the beach. They weren't kidding when they said San Francisco was cold during the summer...
Then we drove to the top of Twin Peaks for what was supposedly a breathtaking view of the city, but the weather foiled our plans again.
Now I have two weeks to either throw away or pack every item that I've accumulated in my twenty-two years of life!
Beautiful photos, and congrats on finding a fabulous apartment ...can't wait to hear more about it! Also can't wait for more bloggy goodness. Happy weekend. xx veronika

ReplyDeleteI love how you tied your wool scarf! I live in Indiana and I can't wait for winter to come. I am so sick of all the hot weather. I found something on StumbleUpon that you might find useful-- it s a link to tie scarves 37 different ways!
