I survived the semester. Knowing that a lovely brunch on the patio of Nosh awaited me was probably the only thing that kept me sane (which is debatable, see the Fruit Loop post). I got through exams (who knew that eliminating any semblance of a social life for 4 months would result in such good grades?) and the ICore case (must resist the urge to rant and rant and rant). Now I'm back in the Village and have time to be crafty for the next 4 weeks before I head to Milwaukee.
I've got a few projects in the works; carving Bruce's face into a board, attaching thousands of chiffon flowers to a bubble skirt, you know, normal summer activities. I was sorting through pictures today for a project and found a few that I think are pretty funny...
Before you go thinking that this scene should be made into a Precious Moments greeting card, you should probably know that I wasn't sharing the bubble wand out of the goodness of my heart. I had to have control of the wand to ensure that we each got equal bubble-blowing time and remember hating all of the sticky bubble spillage Bruce caused. Hmm, sound a little neurotic and obsessive? Never...
