Since I got an iPhone my favorite activity has been playing with camera apps, so I thought I'd compare the ones I've been using in a Consumer Reports style. Let me know if there are any others I should check out! (Hipstamatic has been on my to-buy list for a while, but it's already so ubiquitous and the rebel in me wants to find something more obscure to play with...)

Price: free!
Pros: Instagram is like Twitter for photos. You take a pic, choose a filter, then it shows up on a news feed along with other users' photos that you choose to follow.
Cons: Most of the filters are pretty extreme - sometimes it's hard to find exactly what you're looking for, especially if you're dealing with skin tones.

Price: $0.99Pros: ShakeIt is simple. Take a picture, shake your phone around to develop it (in the words of the André 3000, shake it like a polaroid picsha), et voila! No fuss and the results have a nice contrast without any crazy color filters!
Cons: Less versatility than Instagram.
Price: $0.99Pros: There are settings on CrossProcess that I haven't quite figured out how to manipulate yet, but the results are more professional-looking than the others and the rectangle format is a nice option.
Cons: None!
Price: $0.99
Pros: I love the contrast that I got in these pictures of the sky and Jimmy and I were both amazed at how skinny it made us look. No yellow filters to deal with, so you never run the risk of looking like an Oompa Loompa.
Cons: None!

You should try CameraBag. I think it is free, and it's super awesome. You can choose from a bunch of different filters for your pictures.
