I'm usually not a big fan of glass-top tables (once my mom said, "Why would you want to stare at your legs while you're eating dinner?" and I haven't felt the same about them since) but isn't this one pretty?
And remember this chair? It made an appearance back in my early days of blogging when I thought I was some kind of design prodigy for having discovered Design Within Reach - haha!
Apparently it's not a good idea to set a piece of glass with slightly jagged edges on an air mattress. Looks like I'll be sleeping on the floor for one more night before my real mattress arrives. This is totally going to be my version of the I-walked-to-school-in-waist-deep-snow-up-hill-both-ways story.
Follow me on Twitter if you want to see the things I'm buying before they're posted here!
Haha you are having ALL kinds of adventures with moving!

oooh cute cute! Im not a fan of glass surfaces, being always afraid of it breaking (i have an injury from broken glass, it's been a bit of an iffy thing for me since then :/ !)
ReplyDeleteBut its lovely! And i love your pear decoration :D
I ate off an ironing board for a month until my furniture arrived. Note to past self, food stains on ironing board cover will transfer to clothing...
ReplyDeletebahahahah! that quote from your mom is solid gold.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute! I LOVE that table. Where is it from?
ReplyDeleteIt's from this store in San Francisco: http://www.stuffsf.com/
